The war made him left his only son behide with hope that his son will retrieve the freedom of their people. Wang Wied’s hope seems far away for a young Hmong who has only little experience. He is still missing the happiness of the civilization. He does not know how his future will be like. The winner of the war may not be the answer of happiness for him, but the true happiness is hope and dream.
